Glufosinate Ammonium 13.5% w/w SL
Glufen is a non-selective herbicide that is effective against a wide range of annual and perennial weeds. It works by inhibiting the enzyme glutamine synthetase, leading to the accumulation of ammonia in the plant cells, which is toxic to the plants.
Recommended crops, dosage and pack sizes as published by SOLAS CROPTECH.
1-1.32 Ltr/Acre
Bottle (250ml, 500ml, 1000ml)
Mode of action and directions for use, as published for GLUFEN.
Glutamine Synthetase is the enzyme which catalyzes the reaction of ammonia (NH3) and Glutamic acid to form Glutamine in plants. Glufosinate ammonium, when applied on weed plants, is absorbed by leaves and inhibits the enzyme activity. This leads to the accumulation of ammonia (NH3) in the plant cell. NH3 is strongly phytotoxic. The affected cells die and form necrotic spots, finally withering plants/weeds.
Take the recommended quantity of Glufosinate Ammonium and add it to a bucket of water. Stir vigorously using a stick or rod. Add the remaining required quantity of water; stir well to form the final spray solution.
